KEPFERLE FAMILY

Franz josef kuepferle Family

Franz Josef Kuepferle

I am researching the KEPFERLE or KÜPFERLE, or KUEPFERLE family from Louisville, Kentucky. The family was originally from Schwarzach, Baden, Germany, and they spelled their name KUEPFERLE or sometimes Küpferle.
I am a descendant of Franz Josef KUEPFERLE and Maria Anna GOTZ. They had nine children and the ninth was a son Carolus KUEPFERLE born Oct. 23, 1821 in Schwarzach, Baden, Germany. Carolus came to the US in 1849. Carolus married Elizabeth SAALMUELLER, she was born Jan. 24, 1830 in MarktSteinach, Bavaria, Germany. They had three children: Joseph Paul KEPFERLE, my great great grandpa, born Oct. 24, 1852 in Louisville, Kentucky, he changed the spelling of his name from KUEPFERLE or Küpferle to KEPFERLE when he married Alice H. HALL on September 15, 1876 in Wabaunsee, Kansas; Elizabeth KUEPFERLE born Aug. 30, 1854 in Louisville, Kentucky and William A. KUEPFERLE born March 3, 1856 in Louisville, Kentucky.

I would like to find out more about William A. and his sister Elizabeth KUEPFERLE. I do know that William A. KUEPFERLE married Cora WILSON, Feb. 7, 1883 in Topeka, KS and that she died in 1884 or 1885.

Joseph and Alice HALL had four children: Helen Elizabeth born 11-8-1877 and died 5-29-1878; George Royal KEPFERLE (my Great Grandpa) born Nov. 8, 1878; Charles William KEPFERLE born 8-23-1881 and Harry Tyler KEPFERLE born 1-23-1884 and died January 26, 1926.

I would also like to find out more on my great Uncle Harry. I know that he married a woman name Maude Sargent. So far I have nothing on her. I am looking for the date of their marriage and if they had any children.  I located his gravesite in Wichita Kansas in Maple Grove Cemetery Plot Section E, Lot 161 Grave 3,
buried not far from his mother, Alice Hall Jensen
.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. I have a great deal more information that my Uncle Roy and Aunt Rhua Kepferle have researched on the genealogy of the Kepferle's that I would be willing to share.
